Maduro: Millions of Venezuelans ready to fight US aggressors

In recent weeks, US forces have seized and destroyed at least three Venezuelan fishing boats on suspicion of drug trafficking, killing more than 10 people!

Earlier this week, media outlets reported that the Venezuelan government had released a letter Maduro wrote to Trump, in which he strongly denied US accusations that he leads a drug cartel, calling them “totally false” and urging Trump to “maintain peace.”

In response, White House spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt claimed that Maduro’s letter was “full of lies” and added that the Trump administration’s position on Venezuela has not changed and that Washington considers the Venezuelan government “illegitimate”!

The deployment of American troops near Venezuela is considered the largest deployment of troops from this country to the Caribbean region in recent years.

Maduro has accused Trump, who failed to expedite the removal of the Venezuelan president during his first term, of attempting to change the regime in Caracas.

Last week, Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Pardino accused the United States of “waging an undeclared war” against Caracas, stressing that the passengers of boats that Washington claimed were carrying drugs were executed without the right to defend themselves.

Thousands of Venezuelans have mobilized into militia forces following Maduro’s call to strengthen the country’s army.
