White House: Support for Israel is a longstanding bipartisan issue in America

PNN – John Kirby, the spokesman of the National Security Council of the White House, who spoke at a press conference, said: We must remember that supporting Israel (regime) is a long-standing non-partisan issue in America.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by CNN, Kirby, the spokesperson of the National Security Council of the White House, in evaluating Benjamin Netanyahu’s video interview, which was conducted only with the Republican representatives of the US Senate, noted that the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime can decide to speak wherever he wants: But I think it’s important to remember that support for Israel has long been a cross-partisan issue in this country.

Stating that this long-standing cross-party support shows the broad support that the people of the Zionist regime know they can count on from the American people, Kirby emphasized: It is very important that we behave in such a way that this support remains non-partisan in our decisions and actions.

Benjamin Netanyahu held a video meeting with Republican senators on Wednesday, following the strong criticism that Chuck Schumer, the leader of the Democrats in the Senate, had made before him.

Meanwhile, Chuck Schumer’s harsh criticism of Netanyahu has been met with opposition from Republican lawmakers in America and a sharp reaction from a group of Israeli officials.

One of Chuck Schumer’s spokespersons stating that the majority leader of the United States Senate has opposed the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request to hold an online video meeting and dialogue with American Democratic senators, said: The request of the Prime Minister (regime) of Israel has been rejected by Schumer because this American senator does not believe in conducting such talks on a party basis.

According to Axios, Netanyahu’s request to hold an online video meeting with US Democratic senators came after a group of Democratic Party representatives in the US Congress criticized Netanyahu in recent days due to the high civilian casualties in the Israeli army’s attack on Gaza.

US President Joe Biden supported Chuck Schumer, who strongly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and called for early elections in the occupied territories, and praised the positions of the Senate leader.
