This American official once again invited the authorities of the Zionist regime to stop the illegal settlement constructions in occupied Jerusalem and added: The Israeli cabinet is preventing the establishment of peace with the Palestinians by expanding the settlement constructions in violation of international laws.
In another part of his press statement, the spokesperson of the US State Department said: “The establishment of an independent Palestinian state will necessarily reduce the continuation of Israeli settlements.”
