PNN – An American media outlet claimed that the White House has warned Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to leave the country.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Miami Herald newspaper wrote in a report: The United States is ready to guarantee the security of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his family if he immediately steps down.
Sources interviewed by the newspaper said Washington would provide Maduro, his wife and child with “safe passage” guarantees if they step down now.

Closed skies over Venezuela; Is Trump on the verge of a new military adventure?
According to the report, authorities in Caracas have proposed transferring political control to opposition forces, while command of the armed forces remains in the hands of the current leadership.
A source told the Miami Herald that the recent phone call between Maduro and US President Donald Trump was a last-ditch effort to avoid a direct confrontation. The call was coordinated by Brazil, Qatar and Turkey.
Washington has accused Venezuelan authorities of inadequate efforts to combat drug trafficking, although it has not provided evidence.
The New York Times reported that Trump has also authorized covert CIA operations in Venezuela. American media have repeatedly announced the possibility of launching attacks on Venezuelan soil. Trump also said on November 27 that ground operations to combat drug trafficking would begin “soon,” without specifying details of a possible military intervention.
