PNN – Tedros Adhanom, the head of the World Health Organization, warned that Gaza’s health system is collapsing.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Tedros Adhanom, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), warned that Nasser Hospital and Al-Amal Hospital in southern Gaza are at risk of completely stopping services. This means that Gaza’s healthcare system is on the verge of collapse.
Accordingly, Adhanom announced in a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that the two hospitals are located within or adjacent to the mandatory evacuation zone that Israel ordered earlier this week.

He added: Zionist authorities have informed the Ministry of Health that access routes to both hospitals will be blocked. As a result, safe access for new patients and medical staff will become difficult, if not impossible.
The head of the World Health Organization emphasized: The failure of these two hospitals will have catastrophic consequences for patients in need of surgical care, intensive care, blood bank and transfusion services, cancer treatment, and dialysis.
Finally, referring to the process of destroying Gaza’s healthcare system, he said: The relentless and systematic destruction of Gaza’s hospitals has continued for a long time. This process must stop immediately.
