Who is the freed Palestinian prisoner who was sentenced to 18 life sentences?

According to Al Jazeera, “Ali Hassan Abdullah Al-Rajabi” is one of the resistance fighters affiliated with the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, born in 1976. His anti-Zionist activities led to him being unable to complete his primary education, resulting in his expulsion from school. He immediately joined the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, and participated in several suicide operations. The Israeli army ultimately arrested him in 2003 and sentenced him to 18 life terms in prison.

“Ali Al-Rajabi” was expelled from school as a child due to daily confrontations with Israeli soldiers through stone-throwing and Molotov cocktails. At that time, he was only 14 years old. He spent his high school years in prison and later graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism and media. He also became a memorizer of the entire Quran during his captivity.
