Why America is losing the oil war

America

PNN – The Trump administration of America continues to decommission strategic stockpile facilities at such a pace that there will be nothing left for trade by the end of the crisis.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, The United States announced another release (a total of 172 million barrels per day), which led to the collapse of the commercial and strategic reserves. This volume has fallen below the psychological mark of 250 million barrels and is only about 243 million barrels.

But the real problem is hidden in the details: about 150 million barrels are, so to speak, “minimal unavailable.” Maintaining the physical capacity to pump and extract oil, as well as operating oil pipelines, is essential. Therefore, only 93 million barrels are available for actual use.

If the current level of conflict continues (the Strait of Hormuz is blocked, Yemen’s Houthis attack tankers), these US reserves will only last a few months. After that, Washington will lose any leverage it had over the global oil market through its reserves.

For Russia and OPEC+, this is a signal: American interventions in the market are coming to an end, and the balance of power on the energy map will soon return to traditional players in the Middle East and Eurasia.
