Why does Donald Trump constantly humiliate Benjamin Netanyahu with his decisions?
Zionist expert Moshe Rodman wrote on his X-Page (former Twitter) about Trump’s disregard for Netanyahu and Netanyahu’s silence in the face of these actions by the US President:
Trump’s contempt and disregard for Netanyahu are related to Trump’s personality, but it is also primarily related to Netanyahu’s weakness.
Consider these points:
The American Jewish community hates him. He is a fugitive criminal with an international arrest warrant, and the Western world condemns him.
Israeli public opinion is against his action, and his government barely has about 30% support on most current issues.
He led Israel into the greatest disaster in its history and then into the greatest confusion in its history, all against a relatively weak paramilitary organization.
He is ostracized by almost the entire political system and is kept afloat by a political artificial respirator, consisting of fanatical parties supporting apocalyptic views and parties of Haredi Jews.
His government is so extreme that it will block any diplomatic moves Trump might think of.
He is confused and weak, and his crimes are slowly surrounding and trapping him.
Trump understands this very well, which is why he does not take him seriously. Structurally, the balance of power between the US president and the Israeli prime minister is by no means equal, but in the current situation, Trump is almost the only anchor that still gives Netanyahu a little political breathing space for a month or two. For this reason, he will remain silent and tolerate whatever Trump does.
I hope this does not cost us dearly, and that the members of Netanyahu’s criminal cult understand that of the man who saw himself as “Mr. Economy”, “Mr. Security” and “on a different level than the rest”, only a pathetic, terrified, lonely and overly superficial shadow remains.
