Why is the Zionist regime worried about the unification of Palestinian groups?
After three months of intensive negotiations between the Palestinian groups in Beijing, these groups finally agreed to put aside the old differences and form a national unity government. According to Chinese sources, the central core of these negotiations is to establish a political mechanism with the aim of continuing Palestinian sovereignty over Palestinian land. Another important goal of this agreement is to reflect the united opinion of the Palestinian groups in order to weaken the plan of the Zionist regime to control the security affairs of Gaza and destroy the Palestinian sovereignty in this region.
In addition to announcing the agreement between the Palestinian groups, Beijing unveiled a three-stage peace plan, which, unlike the American plan, clearly addressed the issue of the continuation of “Palestinian sovereignty”. Based on this, it is expected that this plan will be welcomed more than Security Council Resolution 2735 by Arab countries and Palestinian groups. Of course, the blunt tone of the Chinese plan can cause the Zionists to protest and disrupt their work in the negotiation process.
