Widening rifts; a number of former Mossad employees called for an end to the war.

Widening rifts; several former Mossad employees called for an end to the war.

According to Al-Mayadeen, a few days ago, the Israeli Channel 13 website announced that the reserve soldiers of Unit 8200, affiliated with the Israeli intelligence department, joined the call of these two pilots to stop the conflict and return the prisoners.

A letter that has been signed by hundreds of current and former soldiers of the regime states: “We confirm with concern at this moment that the war is now in line with political and personal interests, not security interests.”

Hours after the letter was distributed, about 1,000 members of the Israeli Air Force also called for an end to the war in the Gaza Strip.

More than 150 former soldiers of the regime’s navy also announced their opposition to the war in Gaza in a similar letter.

These oppositions were not limited to these cases, and according to a report by Israeli Radio, several doctors and academics of the regime also joined these oppositions, with 100 military doctors in the regime’s reserve unit calling for an end to the fighting and the return of the prisoners in a letter.

In this regard, domestic pressure on the Netanyahu government has increased, with the occupied territories witnessing almost daily demonstrations.
