Widespread dismissals and appointments in the Saudi court

PNN – The King of Saudi Arabia dismissed and appointed a number of officials in the country.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued several decrees published in the country’s official news agency, dismissing and appointing a number of officials in the country.

These dismissals and appointments include changes in some ministries, the judiciary, as well as changes at the emirate and governorate levels.

According to the official Saudi Press Agency, King Salman’s most important decree concerns the removal of Saudi Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih from his position. Khalid Al-Falih was appointed as Minister of State and Cabinet member after his dismissal, and Fahd bin Abdul Jalil bin Ali Al-Saif was appointed as the new Saudi Minister of Investment.

According to these changes, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah bin Mubarak Al-Moajeb was removed from the position of Attorney General and appointed as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of minister. Khalid bin Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Yousef was appointed as the new Attorney General (with the rank of minister).

It is said that these changes were made within the framework of long-term policies regarding Saudi Arabia, especially Vision 2030.
