World Food Program’s warning against military aggression in Rafah.
According to Al Jazeera, officials of the World Food Program announced: We are extremely concerned about the possibility of a massive military attack on the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
Officials of this international organization emphasized: that Israel is talking about a military attack on Rafah while more than one million people live in this area.
The World Food Program announced that efforts made to reach the needy throughout the Gaza Strip are constantly being thwarted and hindered.
Martin Griffiths, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, also emphasized yesterday that more than half of the residents of Gaza have gathered in Rafah and are facing the risk of death.
Griffiths explained that there is very little food left for Rafah residents, they rarely have access to treatment and there is no safe place to go.
He said that the international community has warned against the attack on Rafah and the Zionist government cannot ignore requests in this regard.
