World Health Organization’s warning about the lack of Afghanistan’s aid budget

Pak Sahafat – The World Health Organization warned about the lack of aid funds to Afghanistan and announced that if this trend continues, millions of people will not have access to life-saving health services.

According to the Pak Sahafat News Agency, the World Health Organization stated that assistance in providing health services in Afghanistan should be continued, especially to the people of deprived areas who are extremely vulnerable.

This organization warned on the X channel that millions of Afghans will be deprived of life-saving health services if the lack of funds continues.

WHO noted that its partnership with “donors and partners” has brought vital health care to Afghanistan.

The report of the World Health Organization states: After decades of instability, severe droughts and natural disasters have intensified, and Afghanistan is currently facing a long-term humanitarian crisis, with millions of people living in poverty or without access to health care and food, putting them at risk.

This international organization stated that it needs 125 million dollars of additional funding to continue providing basic health needs in Afghanistan until the end of this year.

According to the report of this organization, 28.8 million people in Afghanistan need urgent assistance, while this figure was 18.4 million before August 2021.
