Yazid in Beirut: Saudi Arabia’s hostile policy against Hezbollah.

The developments in Lebanon over the past year have been rapid and unique, the starting point of which can be considered the assassination of martyr Fouad Shaker, Hezbollah’s senior military commander.

After this assassination, domino-like developments, including the Pijri operation, the assassination of martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the party’s Secretary General, and the start of ground operations along the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine, along with extensive airstrikes by the Zionist regime during the 66-day war, changed the balance of power in Lebanon.

After these military and security developments, the rival political forces of Hezbollah and the Amal movement saw an opportunity to exploit these changes and quickly put the dormant presidential project, which had been on hold for two years, on their agenda.
