The report continues, after this period, it became clear that Tel Aviv was facing the same old problem of remaining stuck on two strategic paths.
Yedioth Aharonot added: The first option is for Israel to completely occupy the Gaza Strip and remain in the area without specifying a time limit and incurring heavy costs in the absence of releasing prisoners. The second option is to agree to a prisoner exchange agreement again with heavy costs and withdraw from the Gaza Strip and release Palestinian prisoners. However, the prisoner agreement is considered better than the endless occupation of the Gaza Strip because at least the Zionist prisoners will return.
