Another part of the statement states that strengthening maritime security and the security of the region’s waterways requires the withdrawal of foreign military fleets whose presence is illegal.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry added: The US and Britain have militarized the Red Sea and turned it into a conflict zone. They are seeking to create alliances that have nothing to do with the interests of the people of the region.
The ministry stressed that Sanaa has proven to the international community that its operations in the Red Sea target the Israeli enemy and its interests as a means of exerting pressure to stop its crimes in Gaza.
