PNN – The Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister, in a video-conference conversation with the UN envoy, emphasized Sana’a’s commitment to the peace process and stated that their hand is always extended toward peace.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting Yemen’s official news agency (SABA), amid the recent developments in Yemen — especially Riyadh’s suspicious moves against the country within the framework of following U.S. policies — Abdulwahid Abu Ras, Yemen’s Deputy Foreign Minister, held a video-conference discussion last night with Hans Grundberg, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy.

In this conversation, Abdulwahid Abu Ras expressed appreciation for Grundberg’s efforts to achieve the peace process in Yemen and stressed the Yemeni government’s support for these efforts.
The senior Yemeni official said that Sana’a’s hand is always extended toward peace and that the time has come to resume the political settlement and the implementation of the roadmap and its humanitarian commitments.
The UN Secretary-General’s envoy, for his part, informed the Yemeni official of the results of his recent meetings with various parties and with the permanent members of the UN Security Council, and said that the United Nations and the international community are paying special attention to achieving peace in Yemen and ending the suffering of the country’s people.
