PNN – In a letter to the President of the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Yemen’s Foreign Minister emphasized the country’s commitment to supporting Gaza, stating that shipping is free for everyone except Israel and parties involved in the aggression against Gaza, and that companies must follow Yemen’s recommendations.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, While Yemen continues to adhere to its original position in supporting Gaza through operations deep inside occupied Palestine and the naval and air blockade against the Zionist regime, Yemeni Foreign Minister Jamal Amer emphasized this firm Yemeni position in a letter to the President of the Security Council this July and to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The letter refers to the statement by Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, on July 8, in which Yemen emphasized its adherence to the principles of international law and the UN Charter, including freedom of navigation in vital international waterways.

The letter states: Yemen’s commitment to freedom of international navigation includes all countries and parties, except the Zionist regime and the parties that provide logistical, military, and economic support to this regime, support that directly or indirectly contributes to the Zionist crimes and brutal aggressions against the Gaza Strip.

In this letter, the Yemeni Foreign Minister emphasized: To prevent any unwanted harm, Yemen has launched a Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center to facilitate effective and transparent coordination with international shipping companies. The aim of this measure is to avoid any unnecessary tension and ensure the safe passage of ships that do not interfere in supporting the Israeli regime’s aggression against Gaza.

The letter further emphasizes: Yemen calls on all commercial ships and shipping companies to adhere to the orders and decisions of the Yemeni Armed Forces in this regard, and warns that ignoring these instructions will place full responsibility for the possible consequences on the parties that have violated the said orders.

According to this letter, the Sana’a government also advises all public or private institutions and companies to avoid any interaction or cooperation with assets and interests related to the Zionist occupation regime in order to prevent the dangers arising from the regime’s continued aggression against Gaza. The Yemeni armed forces are becoming stronger and more organized every day and will continue their precise and targeted operations aimed at stopping the brutal aggression of the Zionist regime against Gaza and lifting the siege of this strip; operations that are in accordance with the principles of international humanitarian law and international law.
