PNN – The secretary of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen said in a statement on Monday night in response to the destruction of a spy network affiliated with the US and the Zionist regime in this country that this action is an important strategic achievement.

Stating that this action is an important achievement at the regional level, he said: The espionage and intelligence war served America and the Israeli regime in many countries.
The Secretary of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen added: The destruction of this espionage network in Yemen and the confessions of those arrested about cooperation with the American intelligence services and the Zionist regime is an important strategic achievement.

Earlier, Abdul Hakim Hashem Al-Khiwani, the head of Yemen’s Security and Intelligence Organization, announced: With God’s help, the members of an extensive US-Israel spy network were arrested. The American-Israeli spy network has played a role of espionage and sabotage in official and unofficial institutions on behalf of the enemy for several decades.
He said: The American-Israeli spy network has been in direct contact with the CIA. This spy network was equipped with special techniques, devices and equipment that enabled them to carry out their activities secretly.
The Operations and Intelligence Organization later published the confessions of a number of members of this spy team.
