Yemen’s Ansarullah: Being on America’s “friends list” is more dangerous than its “terrorist list”
According to Al-Masirah, Nasreddin Amer, deputy head of the Ansarullah media organization, sarcastically emphasized the new US government’s move to put Yemenis on Washington’s so-called “terrorist” list, saying, “It is more dangerous and provocative for us to be on America’s list of friends.”
He also added: “Just as the Americans failed to confront us at sea and were defeated, this time their attempt to put Ansarullah on the terrorism list will also fail.”
Nasreddin continued: “The Yemeni Ansarullah movement has no investments, bank accounts, or companies in the US, and its members do not travel to the US.”
According to the deputy head of the Yemeni Ansarullah media organization, “If America were to put us on the list of friends, it would be more dangerous and provocative for us than if it were to put us on the terrorism list.”
The Yemeni official said about the main reason for this action by the new US administration: “With this action, America has targeted the Yemeni people for supporting Gaza, and this is a great honor for our people and part of their struggle.”
