Yemen’s Ansarullah created a strategic shift in the balance of power in the battle with Israel.
“Qassid Mahmoud,” an Arab military and strategic affairs expert, said: “The Yemeni Ansarullah movement has created a significant shift in the balance of power at the strategic level in the fight against the Israeli occupiers. Yemen’s direct and continuous military intervention is through missile and drone strikes that cover a distance of two thousand kilometers. The movement has also imposed an air and naval blockade on the Israeli regime.
He emphasized: “This psychological and nervous pressure on the Israeli regime has become a real challenge for it, especially since the regime is forced to confront costly missile threats. Yemen has become a new arena for war with the Israeli regime. This country has geographical features and natural fortifications that make targeting it a tough challenge for the regime.”
Qassid Mahmoud emphasized: “Yemen has introduced a new strategic value and filled a strategic vacuum in the war.” Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance continues to play important roles at the tactical and operational levels; however, it faces difficulties due to its geographical blockade and limited capabilities in achieving strategic influence.
The military expert and analyst noted: Yemen has opened the Red Sea front and waterways and created new threats to the occupiers’ airspace. It has also linked its military operations to the developments in Gaza and the blockade and war there. This connection between the Yemeni and Gaza fronts has high political value and is involved in political calculations, equations, negotiations and bargaining, and strengthens the effectiveness of the resistance axis in general.
According to Mahmoud, despite the reduction in the Yemeni army’s attacks on the occupied territories during the Israeli regime’s imposed war against Iran, in recent days the Ansar Allah movement has returned to the military arena and the fight against the Israeli regime with strength, which indicates that the Yemenis’ determination to confront the Israeli regime to support the people of Gaza is still intact and they can carry out operations.
The military expert said, “Yemen today is the most obvious manifestation of the Arab world’s battle against the Israeli regime, and the support of the Yemeni people strengthens the resistance position and supports the Palestinian cause against the occupiers.”
