Yemen’s precondition for reducing the naval blockade of the occupied port of Eilat.
In a situation where the commercial port of Eilat is partially closed due to the occasional missile and drone attacks by the resistance of Yemen and Iraq, a senior member of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement gave the Zionist enemy an exceptional opportunity to the occupiers.
Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s political council, said: “If the [Zionist] enemy allows aid to enter Gaza, we will allow similar amounts to reach the occupied port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat).”
Al-Houthi announced that “I tell the bankrupt and occupying enemy that if you allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, the Yemeni armed forces will allow a similar amount of aid to enter the occupied port of Eilat.”
He clarified that the current first priority is the arrival of aid to northern Gaza, because the situation in northern Gaza is very complicated.
It should be noted that the proposal of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement to the occupiers is made following the growing pressure of the international community on the occupiers to send humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip with the aim of reducing the crisis situation in the Gaza Strip and relieving part of the human suffering of the Palestinian refugees.
