Zelensky: I hope Trump understands that Putin cannot be trusted!

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused the US of being influenced by Russian propaganda, according to the Times, as his country seeks to reach a ceasefire agreement.

Zelensky says his controversial White House meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance was aimed at eliminating Russian propaganda influence in the White House.

Referring to the battle of Moschon, which prevented Moscow from capturing Kiev in the early months of the war, he said: “We outnumbered (Russian) fighters in Moschon to one 13. This is not propaganda, this is reality.”

According to the Times, Trump and Zelensky had been negotiating for weeks over how the US would gain access to Ukraine’s scarce mineral resources and signed a mining deal that fell through after a White House row on February 28.

According to Zelensky, he was upset that Trump had made statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin about the encirclement of thousands of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region by Russian forces!

He claimed that this regard was a lie. I believe that Russia managed to influence some people in the White House. The signal they gave to the Americans was that the Ukrainians did not want to end the war and that they had to be forced to do so somehow.

The Ukrainian president added: At that moment (the meeting at the White House) there was a feeling that we were no longer united. In that conversation, I was defending the dignity of Ukraine.

Zelensky said that he hopes Trump will understand that Putin is a weak and unreliable man and that if Russia wins, it will be a disaster.
