According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting Al Jazeera, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that no agreement has yet been reached regarding the territories in eastern Ukraine. Parts of the U.S. proposal require further discussion on sensitive issues, including security guarantees.
The Ukrainian president added that negotiations have not yet reached an agreement concerning the Donbas region, including the Donetsk and Luhansk areas. He emphasized that efforts are underway to secure a separate agreement on security guarantees from Ukraine’s allies, primarily the United States.
Zelensky further stressed the importance of the alliance between Europe, Ukraine, and the United States, saying: We cannot live without Europeans and Americans, and therefore we must make important decisions.
