PNN – The President of Ukraine arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday to discuss the progress of peace talks and the exchange of prisoners with Russia with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he has arrived in Saudi Arabia to continue the dialogue with bin Salman about the peace formula.
He wrote on his X account: The first issue is the peace formula. We are now approaching the first peace meeting and are counting on the active support of Saudi Arabia. The second issue is the return of prisoners of war.
Zelensky has presented a 10-point formula for peace in Ukraine, which includes the withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukraine while the two sides are still fighting 1,500 kilometers from the front line.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has sought to strengthen his position as a broker to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine, while Riyadh remains aligned with Moscow on energy policy.
The previous day, bin Salman hosted Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and a group of Russian officials.
Zelensky’s trip took place while Kiev forces are slowly retreating from eastern Ukraine. Analysts say Russia has taken the initiative by deploying large numbers of troops and weapons, while Ukraine waits to hear news of new supplies from its Western partners.
Ukraine’s military announced today that it has withdrawn its forces from two more villages near Avdiyka in the eastern Donetsk region following heavy fighting overnight.
