Ziad Al-Nakhala: The release of a large number of prisoners was an achievement of the resistance.
“Ziyad al-Nakhallah, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement and one of the senior resistance commanders, stated the operation to free Palestinian prisoners, stating that what was achieved today in terms of the release of a large number of resistance prisoners and the Palestinian people would not have been possible without the efforts of the resistance men and the bravery of the fighters in the field, as well as the unity of the Palestinian nation in supporting their resistance.
According to the Palestine Information Center, al-Nakhallah stated in the statement: “Yes! We hoped for better results, but our nation is not far from understanding the balance of forces and the numerous factors that surround our people, especially in Gaza.”
He referred to the complex conditions and limitations in the Gaza Strip, saying that these conditions “have affected the final results.”
The Secretary-General of Islamic Jihad emphasized: “The flags of the resistance remain high, the resistance is standing firm in the field, and our nation will remain proud, dignified, and committed to its resistance.”
He concluded by noting: “God willing, the goal of freeing the rest of our brave prisoners will never be removed from the priorities of the resistance.”
