PNN – A Zionist analyst acknowledged the regime’s repeated failures in Gaza, including in the case of supporting criminal gangs, distributing aid, and the forced displacement of Gazans, and called for the formation of an investigative committee.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Palestinian news agency Shehab, Michael Milstein, head of the Palestine department at the Moshe Dayan Zionist Center for Middle East Studies, stated in a statement that Israel’s experiment in the Gaza Strip using militias and criminal gangs against Hamas failed, as did its previous failed experiments, such as Antoine Lahad’s army in Lebanon and the village associations in the 1980s.

This senior Zionist analyst adds that this failed case of managing the conflict with Hamas should be added to the files of the official investigation committee.
He noted that the Israeli regime’s approach of relying on these groups to confront Hamas demonstrated Tel Aviv’s weakness in understanding realities and the regime’s failure to learn from past experiences.
The former Israeli military intelligence officer continued that Tel Aviv made a series of mistakes in managing the war, the most prominent of which were the formation of the “Immigration Encouragement Board” and the “Gift Distribution Project (GHF),” which wasted billions of shekels.
Milstein noted that using criminal gangs in Gaza is currently a nightmare for Israel, as it cannot intervene to protect them without the ceasefire collapsing. On the other hand, statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel is arming these gangs have damaged their fragile position, as they are made up of socially marginalized groups in Gaza.
