Zionist analyst: Ceasefire talks are coming to an end; Tel Aviv is making painful concessions.
According to Arabi 21, Israeli military analyst Amos Harel wrote in his article in the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz: The ongoing negotiations between Tel Aviv and the Hamas movement regarding the ceasefire agreement are nearing their end.
He added: Tel Aviv is ready to conclude this agreement, but there are still obstacles. Netanyahu has changed his previous positions, especially regarding the Philadelphia axis, due to the pressure that has been applied.
Harel wrote: We have witnessed the deaths of Israeli prisoners and soldiers in Gaza, and Tel Aviv will have to make painful concessions to realize this agreement. Netanyahu’s declared goals, including the evacuation of the Gaza Strip and the destruction of Hamas, will never be achieved.
