Zionist brutality in Beirut and a wake-up call for the Lebanese government.

Zionist brutality in Beirut and a wake-up call for the Lebanese government.

On the eve of Eid al-Adha, which is an important occasion for Muslims in all countries, including Lebanon, the Israeli army, in one of its most brutal attacks since the ceasefire with Lebanon, carried out more than 20 airstrikes on the suburbs of Beirut, and several attacks were carried out by the occupying regime’s fighter jets on the town of Ain Qana in southern Lebanon.

As usual, the occupying regime’s army claimed to have attacked Hezbollah’s military facilities and claimed that during these attacks, it targeted underground facilities, Hezbollah’s drone production and storage centers, and a reconnaissance drone manufacturing workshop in the town of Ain Qana.

Zionist brutality in Lebanon on Eid al-Adha

As the Lebanese people were preparing for the Eid al-Adha holiday, Avichay Idris, the spokesman for the occupying regime’s army, issued an urgent warning on Thursday night, that is, on the eve of Eid al-Adha, which included an evacuation warning for several buildings in different areas of the suburbs of Beirut simultaneously, causing a state of panic and confusion among the Lebanese that lasted until the early hours of the morning.

The Israeli army spokesman also issued a warning to residents in areas in southern Lebanon where people had gathered since Thursday morning to celebrate the holiday. The brutal attack carried out by the Israeli army on the Beirut suburbs yesterday is the fourth such attack since the ceasefire agreement was signed in November last year.

The Israeli regime, without any justification or acceptable excuse, has continued to violate this agreement repeatedly and more than 3,500 times since the beginning, and with the support of the United States, it has tried to legitimize its aggression and occupation in Lebanon. But without a doubt, the attack carried out yesterday was one of the most horrific and dangerous attacks since the ceasefire agreement, where Lebanese citizens remembered the long and bloody nights of war during which they could not sleep, watching the brutal, continuous and surprising attacks of the Zionist enemy.

Behind the scenes of the brutal Zionist aggression on Beirut on Eid al-Adha

Perhaps the seriousness of this new Zionist aggression compared to previous aggressions prompted Lebanese officials, namely President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri, to issue separate statements condemning this brutal attack.

All Lebanese officials described this aggression as a deliberate targeting of Lebanon and a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement. So, how can the new escalation of tensions by the Zionist regime against Lebanon be explained, both in terms of form and content, and is condemnation sufficient to counter these aggressions, or even effective at all?
