According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Manar, the Hebrew newspaper “Israel Hayom” acknowledged in a report that a year after the cessation of the war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, reconstruction in the northern areas of occupied Palestine is progressing slowly, and while Netanyahu’s cabinet is developing long-term plans for reconstruction, it is estimated that it will take about five years to return to the pre-war situation.

Israel Hayom continued its report by adding: In the town of Al-Mutala (Metulla), 52 percent of the residents have returned to their homes. In the town of Al-Manara, half of the residents have not yet returned, and the situation in the town of Shtoula is similar. In settlements such as “Edmit” and “Mishkaf A’am”, 40% and in a settlement such as Kiryat Shmona, 30% of residents have not returned to their areas of residence.

According to real estate experts in the Zionist settlement of Kiryat Shmona, there are about 700 apartments for sale in the settlement, and on real estate websites, more than 200 ads for houses for sale and a similar number of apartments for rent can be found.

Another part of the Israel Hume report states that in the settlement of Kiryat Shmona, shops are in a deplorable state, with approximately 40% of them still not open, and with thousands of people not returning to the city, many of those who have returned to work are on the verge of economic collapse.
