Zionist expert: We have neither leverage to put pressure on Hamas nor soldiers for war.
Continuing the protests against Netanyahu by the regime’s leaders regarding the Gaza war, Yoram Kraus, a Zionist expert on the battlefield situation in Gaza, wrote:
Netanyahu’s main problem is that he does not have many cards in his hand militarily. Israel Katz’s threats that Hamas will soon feel “our wrath” if it does not surrender are absurd and meaningless.
Israel has no leverage that it has not used; it has used everything it has to agree to a prisoner exchange.
Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has ended the military operation in Gaza and, in his opinion, there is no point in continuing it.
But most importantly, he no longer has troops. His new plan is to deploy on defensive lines to protect soldiers and continue targeted attacks based on intelligence.
This is not the leverage that Netanyahu had in mind for Hamas, but he has no other choice.
There are many strategists in Netanyahu’s cabinet, but no one has thought about the question of who the soldiers in this endless war will be, and now Israel is facing a crisis of a shortage of soldiers.
