Zionist extremist minister expresses opposition to Witkoff plan.
Al Jazeera reported that the Zionist media agency wrote that Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Zionist Minister of Extremism, made a statement that he opposed the plan of Steve Witkoff, the US envoy to Gaza, and that Netanyahu had made a mistake in cooperating based on this plan.
He claimed that Hamas would use the ceasefire to arm itself and that the only thing that should be done was to destroy them.
Ben-Guer continued his claims, saying: “I am not only worried about the Israeli prisoners in Gaza; I am also worried about our children and soldiers.”
Bassem Naim, a leader of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), emphasized in an interview with Al-Mayadeen that the movement did not reject the plan of Steve Witkoff, the US envoy to Gaza, but rather announced its agreement with it last week and accepted it as a negotiable proposal.
He continued: “The Zionist side has presented its response to the Witkoff plan, and this response does not agree with the clauses we agreed on and does not meet the minimum needs of our nation.”
