Zionist General: Israeli Army is in its worst condition.

Zionist General: Israeli Army is in its worst condition.

In a note published in Hebrew-language media on Monday morning, Retired General Yitzhak Barik referred to the claims of high-ranking Israeli officials about weakening Hamas, describing them as baseless nonsense.

He wrote in this regard: The Prime Minister, Cabinet ministers and cabinet members have recently made statements that indicate that the war in Gaza will continue until Hamas is completely defeated. I think these statements are regrettable because the military pressure aimed at freeing prisoners will lead to the opposite results and will take the lives of these prisoners.

The Zionist general admitted: Today, it faces challenges that are thousands of times more difficult and dangerous than the challenges of Hamas. From Turkey and Syria to Jordan and Egypt and Lebanon to, of course, Iran, these names are just a short list of these challenges, but these days, instead of thinking about rebuilding the army and solving its manpower crisis and preparing the ground for the development of its units, we declare Hamas as the main target that we must focus on until the last point, an action that could become a historic mistake and bring a heavy cost to us.

Brick continued: “The Israeli army will not destroy Hamas, not because it does not want to, but because it cannot and is not capable of doing so, and given the downsizing of the army over the past 20 years, it will not be able to deploy for a long time in the areas of the Gaza Strip that it has occupied.” He continued: “I declare that the Israeli army does not even have enough forces to blow up the hundreds of kilometers of tunnels in which thousands of Hamas forces are stationed, forces that come out from time to time and wage guerrilla warfare against us, planting explosives and booby traps on roads and buildings, firing missiles at our tanks, and then returning to the same tunnels.” The Zionist general stated: “I have come to a clear conclusion: resuming the war will not lead to the collapse of Hamas. When the army cannot eliminate Hamas in more than a year, it cannot do so now, given the fatigue and exhaustion of the military personnel and caution, and the reduction in weapons and ammunition. As someone who has accompanied the Israeli army for decades, I announce that our ground forces will be in the most difficult conditions in 2025 since their establishment.”
