PNN – Yisrael Ziv, the general of the reserve forces and the former head of the operation department of the Zionist regime, said in a statement that we need Yahya al-Sanwar to return the prisoners from Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Palestine’s Sama news agency, Ziv told Channel 12 of Zionist TV: If Israel (regime) wants to return its captives from the Gaza Strip, it needs the existence of Yahya al-Sanwar, the leader of Hamas, and must avoid his assassination.
He added: In case of assassination of Al-Sanwar, there will be no agreement and the prisoners will disappear.
The Israeli general continued criticizing the policies of the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the war in Gaza and said: Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking to prolong the war due to personal considerations and not agreeing to return the prisoners from Gaza.

Saying that the signing of the agreement will end the war very quickly, which is against Netanyahu’s wishes, Ziv added: The prime minister (Netanyahu) seeks to cover up his lack of interest in the agreement issue by deceiving and raising other cases such as not withdrawing from Gaza and completely destroying Hamas.
After about 11 months of the war against the Gaza Strip, fierce clashes between the occupying regime’s soldiers and resistance fighters are going on in different areas of this strip.
This war, which the Zionist regime launched with the two declared goals of destroying the Hamas movement and returning the Zionist prisoners on October 7, 2203, has not yet achieved its goals.
In this regard, Zionist media, referring to the progress of the war against the Gaza Strip and the casualties of this regime’s soldiers, have admitted that Benjamin Netanyahu’s promises over the past 11 months about winning the war and destroying Hamas were empty and demagogic.
