Zionist media reports Israelis received threatening messages this morning.
The Times of Israel reported on Sunday that thousands of Israelis are receiving threatening text messages containing their personal information.
The message, in English, which the Israeli media claims was sent to residents of the occupied territories, reads: “This is your last chance to save yourself and your family. Our embassies are open to you. We know you.”
The Times of Israel reported that some recipients of the message received a link to a page containing their personal information, including their identification numbers.
The claim was based on speculation that “this is the latest attempt at psychological warfare by Iranian agents.”
In a statement quoted by Hebrew media, the National Cyber Directorate called the text messages “an attempt at intimidation and social engineering aimed at creating psychological pressure.”
Yesterday, a hacking group announced that it had hacked the cellphone of former Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and shared about 60 photos and videos extracted from her device.
The group, called “Hanzala,” also announced last month that it had hacked the phones of Sakhi Braverman, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s chief of staff, and Naftali Bennett, former Israeli prime minister.
