Zionist media reports the possibility of a new war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

The Zionist newspaper “Ma’ariv” quoted an Israeli military source as saying that the start of a new round of fighting with Hezbollah is only a matter of time. The military source claimed: “We are concerned about the Lebanese army’s inability to abide by its commitments and disarm Hezbollah.”

According to IRNA, the Zionist regime’s claims come at a time when the regime’s repeated violations of Lebanese sovereignty have been accompanied by silence from the international community and have increased concerns about the direct targeting of civilians and urban infrastructure. On Sunday night, the Zionist army targeted a car in the town of “Mansouri” in the city of “Tur” in southern Lebanon with a drone attack, which reportedly killed at least one civilian and some sources reported the martyrdom of two Hezbollah commanders.

The Zionist regime began its aggression against Lebanon on October 1, 2024, and after two months, finally signed a ceasefire on Wednesday, December 7, with US mediation, but it has continuously violated it.

According to the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli military was supposed to withdraw from southern Lebanon within 60 days, but the regime, contrary to international law, kept its military in five strategic positions in the region and did not leave.
