Zionist media reports potential surprise move by Egypt.

The Zionist news platform Natsif reported that Egypt is moving towards reviewing and amending the peace agreement signed with the Zionist regime in 1979, in light of the rapid geopolitical developments in the region.

According to the report, this process has been raised at the same time as reports have been published about a possible visit by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Washington; although informed sources have so far ruled out the possibility of his meeting with the Israeli prime minister in the US capital.

Citing intelligence reports, Natsif announced that the Egyptian army has recently deployed advanced air defense systems in the Sinai Peninsula, the most important of which is the Chinese HQ-9B system.

The Zionist media outlet considered this action a “clear violation” of the provisions of the peace agreement, an agreement that places strict restrictions on Egypt’s military presence in the region.

According to the report, Cairo justifies these moves with the need to strengthen its defense capabilities in North Sinai and protect its airspace, even if these measures conflict with the historical commitments included in the peace agreement.

Natsif emphasized that this militarization process is not a new issue and has been ongoing for years, but it has not been accompanied by a serious reaction from Israeli officials or effective pressure on the US government.

The media outlet also wrote that Israeli officials are more concerned with their own political survival than with long-term strategic challenges and have neglected to pay attention to potential threats to the regime’s security.

Natsif warned that any agreement by Tel Aviv to amend the peace agreement could lead to new demands and further violations by Egypt.

The media outlet also criticized the major gas agreement between the two sides, describing it as an inappropriate move, and reported that the main priority of the Israeli political elite is to maintain power at all costs, even if this comes at the cost of undermining the strategic security of this regime.
