Recently, Palestinian sources reported that the Hamas delegation left Cairo for further consultations after receiving the new proposal for the exchange of prisoners and negotiating with Egyptian and Qatari mediators and receiving their explanations.
According to this report, the Hamas delegation left Egypt and will return with a written response to the ceasefire proposal in Gaza.
At the same time, Ehsan Ataya, a member of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, in response to the offer of exchange of prisoners presented by the Zionist regime, said that this offer will not lead to an agreement with its current provisions and ambiguities.
He stated that the latest proposal has major gaps and malicious attempts, adding that this proposal is three and a half pages of three-stage details.
This senior member of Islamic Jihad added: The provisions of the new proposal have not changed more than 90% compared to the previous proposal, so I reject reaching an agreement.
