Zionist media: Tel Aviv was planning to bomb Nasrallah’s funeral.
According to Sputnik, Israeli media reported that the regime’s army had considered the possibility of attacking the funeral of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the former secretary-general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
Herzliya Halevi, the Israeli army’s chief of staff, who is in his final days in office, indicated that the attack was on the army’s agenda.
Israeli media reported that Halevi said that the Israeli army had considered attacking or bombing Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral.
The attack was planned at the same time that Israeli fighter jets were patrolling the skies over Beirut during the funeral.
Halevi is scheduled to officially hand over the chief of staff of the Israeli army to his successor, Eyal Zamir, in the first week of next month.
