Earlier, Zionist sources acknowledged that Hamas has strengthened its power.

In this regard, the Zionist regime’s radio announced that Hamas has succeeded in attracting militant forces in northern Gaza and is using unexploded Israeli bombs to target the Zionist forces.

The Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023 to January 19, 2025, but it did not achieve its goals of destroying the Hamas movement and returning Israeli prisoners of war, and was forced to agree to a ceasefire with this movement.

On January 19, 2025, the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement between the Zionist regime and Hamas was implemented, which included three phases, each phase lasting 42 days.

The provisions of the first phase of this agreement include the gradual release of 33 Zionist prisoners held in Gaza in exchange for the release of a number of Palestinian and Arab prisoners, whose number is estimated between 1,700 and 2,000.
