Zionist media: The prisoners’ coffin was a symbol of Israel’s defeat.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, following the handover of the bodies of four Israeli prisoners in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, Zionist circles have strongly criticized Netanyahu’s cabinet, accusing him of obstructing the path to an agreement and deliberately killing Israeli prisoners in Gaza.
The Zionist newspaper Haaretz wrote about this: “Coffins… bodies of neglect.” The neglect did not only occur on October 7, but continued when Netanyahu preferred his own salvation over the salvation of others and war over mercy.
The newspaper believes that these coffins embody the security and political failure of the Zionist regime since the surprise attack and emphasizes that the Netanyahu cabinet has not seriously engaged with the prisoners’ case.
In response to the scenes of the handover of the bodies of the prisoners, Amir Bouhbut, a military analyst of the Zionist regime, said: “The amount of pain is equal to the amount of Israel’s political and security failure.”
The Zionist newspaper Ma’ariu also wrote: The return of the mother and her two children in coffins indicates the failure of the Israeli army and cabinet.
Ma’ariu adds: Today we must accept a reality that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has difficulty accepting: he did not keep his promises. This is the fact that we did not win in Gaza. The Israeli army did not achieve victory.
The Zionist regime’s Channel 14 television also announced: Hamas continues to humiliate Israel during the exchange operation.
Zionist writer Alon Eidan holds the Israeli cabinet responsible for what happened, noting that the four captives were victims of the indifference of a government that preferred continuing the war to reaching an agreement.
Observers believe that the killing of the captives and its consequences will further erode Israel’s image of deterrence and exacerbate the internal divide between supporters of continuing the war and those who want to end it through negotiated solutions.
Families of Israeli prisoners also announced that they will hold a large rally in Tel Aviv this afternoon to demand the return of all Israeli prisoners from the Gaza Strip alive.
