PNN – The Zionist media criticized the policies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the war against the Gaza Strip and admitted that the army of this regime did not win in this war against the Hamas movement.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sama news agency, the Center for Internal Security Studies of the Zionist regime wrote in a report that the regime did not achieve its main goals in the war with Hamas.
Regarding the stages of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, this center added: Israel should focus on the issue of creating the final framework for the release of (Zionist) prisoners at this time. There is no alternative to continuing the ceasefire agreement by expanding its first phase or moving towards the second phase of the ceasefire.
In this regard, the Zionist newspaper Yediot Aharnot wrote: The least that can be done is to insist on the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement and the release of everyone who can be released. People like Bezalel Smotrich (Minister of Defense of the Zionist regime) who claim that it is more important than the (Zionist) prisoners to prevent the repetition of the 7th of October 2023, their logic is questionable. We want no other October 7th to occur without anyone being captured or killed, so why not free those who were already captured?
The Zionist Ma’ariv newspaper also wrote: The events of October 7 are a deep wound in the soul of Israel. Fear, intimidation, lack of solution and self-disappointment are among the failures of the Israeli army and cabinet. Today we are faced with a truth that is difficult for Netanyahu to agree with; He did not keep his word. But the reality is this; we did not win in Gaza, the army did not win. Israel is far from victory and is now required to focus on the issue of returning dead and alive (Zionist) prisoners.
In this regard, Giora Island, the former head of the Internal Security Council of the Zionist regime, emphasized that this regime was defeated in the Gaza war and the ceasefire agreement is not considered an obstacle to the progress of Hamas.
This former Zionist official stated that the Hamas movement achieved a clear victory and said: This battle is a big defeat for Israel, because Hamas not only prevented Israel from achieving its goals, but it was able to achieve its goals, which included remaining in power.
Regarding the cease-fire agreement, he added: This agreement did not prevent Hamas from rebuilding its power and capacities, and it may even progress further, and if Hamas becomes stronger and Israel takes action against it, it is Israel that has violated the agreement.
The United States and Qatar announced on January 15, 2025 that Israel and Hamas reached a ceasefire agreement.
This agreement came into effect on January 19, 2025, and its first phase is 6 weeks.
During this stage, the implementation of the agreement in the second and then the third stage is negotiated.
The Israeli regime, with the support of the United States, launched a devastating war against the residents of the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023 to January 19, 2025, as a result of which, in addition to massive destruction and deadly famine, more than 157,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, were martyred and wounded, and more than 14,000 people went missing. Despite these crimes, Tel Aviv did not achieve its two main goals in the war against the Gaza Strip, which is to destroy the Hamas movement and return the Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip through the war, and was finally forced to agree to a truce with the Hamas movement and return these prisoners by exchanging them with Palestinian prisoners.
