This minister, a member of the Likud party and close to Netanyahu, added: The failure to deal with Hamas operations was due to the illusion of the army commanders and intelligence agencies about the ability to predict Hamas’ behavior in the Gaza Strip.
Riggio said: “Political institutions cannot do the work of the army and intelligence institutions, and the political apparatus operates based on the information provided by these institutions.”
“Haaretz” newspaper also wrote: Some representatives and ministers of the Likud party plan to defeat Netanyahu as a victim after this war, but they are not ready to announce their positions now.
