PNN – A Zionist newspaper wrote that the Hamas movement has not only not collapsed over the past two years, but has not been defeated either.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing resistance war media, the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth emphasized in a report by Zionist writer Yoav Zeitoun that Hamas has not collapsed, nor has it even been defeated, militarily or organizationally, after almost two years since October 7, 2023.
He added that this is while the Israeli army also announced this week that the goal of Operation “Gideon’s Chariots 2” is to defeat the Gaza City army, not the complete defeat of Hamas.

According to the report, Netanyahu repeatedly claimed on the eve of the launch of the attack on Gaza in October 2023 that victory over Hamas was “within reach,” a false claim he has repeated many times throughout the war.
The Zionist newspaper adds that the exact number of Hamas fighters remaining in the Gaza Strip is unknown, but in Gaza City, which is currently under occupation, it is estimated that there are about 2,500 fighters.
The report emphasized that the Israeli military’s assessment is that Hamas has set itself a central goal and wants to achieve it in the first days. This goal is to capture new soldiers participating in the war.
