According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper acknowledged that a fierce clash occurred between Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir during the regime’s War Cabinet meeting.

The report states that the conflict began when Zamir warned that the process of completely occupying the Gaza Strip would be long, saying that this would take several years and that limited military operations should be sufficient at the current stage.
