Zionist sources acknowledge 2 fundamental problems of the Zionist regime’s army.

Citing the Palestinian Information Center, Channel 13 of the Israeli regime’s television network reported that the regime’s army is facing a severe shortage of manpower. According to the report, soldiers who were supposed to be discharged from military service were forced to immediately continue their service as reservists for another four months.

The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper also wrote in a report that the decision to forcibly extend the military service period has caused widespread dissatisfaction and a sharp decline in morale among the military forces.

Some of these soldiers, who are still fighting in Gaza, have stated that they feel exploited and are exhausted.

An Israeli army sergeant serving in Gaza told Yedioth Ahronoth: “Our morale has dropped sharply and we all want this situation to end. We feel exploited.” He added: “Nobody counts us.” Those who sit in higher positions make decisions without caring about our private lives. Those who do not face the consequences of these decisions easily make decisions.

The sergeant also stated: When I return from the Gaza front and am sent to work in the kitchen, this shows that the shortage of personnel is not only in the combat forces, but the army is also experiencing a serious shortage of personnel in many sectors. If a combat force has to work as a service force or a miscellaneous officer in another base for a month, this means a manpower crisis throughout the army.

The Zionist newspaper also revealed that the army’s recent decision to extend the service of soldiers, issued under the name of “Order 77”, has created widespread challenges for the army and has severely weakened the motivation of the troops.

Some senior commanders of the Israeli army have also acknowledged that this decision has brought many challenges and has had a significant negative impact on the morale and readiness of the forces.
