PNN – Hebrew media reported that Iran has set a complete ceasefire in Lebanon as a condition for entering negotiations, and Washington appears to have conceded to this demand.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Al-Mayadeen Network, citing Hebrew media, announced that Israel may soon receive a US order for a complete ceasefire in Lebanon. The media added that the Lebanese front is constantly imposing costs on the regime, and the longer the war continues, the more Israel will pay, both in the north and inside Lebanon.
In this regard, the Lebanese network “U News” also announced that Lebanon will enter into a ceasefire within the next few hours within the framework of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, which was established with the mediation of Pakistan, and that negotiations are scheduled to begin tomorrow, Saturday, in Islamabad.
U News, citing informed sources, stated that Israel will announce its commitment to a ceasefire at 4 a.m. Beirut time to pave the way for Lebanon to be included in the ceasefire. The network reported that the Iranian delegation is refusing to travel to Islamabad before the ceasefire is announced in Lebanon and insists that the Lebanese front be included in Pakistan’s mediation.
Meanwhile, U News reported that Hezbollah told the mediators that it opposes giving the Zionists military freedom of action in Lebanon and will respond to any aggression. In this regard, Iranian officials have repeatedly stated explicitly that the continuation of the ceasefire and the holding of negotiations in Islamabad depend on the cessation of all conflicts, including the Zionist attacks on Lebanon.
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, had also announced hours ago: Two of the measures agreed upon by the parties have not yet been implemented: establishing a ceasefire in Lebanon and releasing Iran’s frozen assets before the start of negotiations. These two issues must be achieved before the talks begin.
The Lebanese government, which has so far remained silent regarding the Zionist aggressions, especially the brutal attacks last Wednesday on various areas that left more than a thousand martyrs and wounded, has in recent days called for direct negotiations with the occupiers. Despite internal opposition, the Lebanese government has claimed that negotiations with Israel are the only way to resolve the regime’s aggressions. This is while the experience of Syria and the occupation of large parts of the south of the country, despite the open negotiations of the Golani government, is before the eyes of Lebanese officials.
