Zionists censored casualty statistics for the two-year Al-Aqsa Storm, a war Israel controlled psychologically.

On the second anniversary of the historic Operation Storm al-Aqsa, which was a major blow to all perceptions of the security and power of the Zionist regime, the official institutions of the regime have published numerous reports on their casualties, especially the number of dead and wounded.

This is while human rights organizations and independent observers have provided analyses that differ from the official Israeli statistics and point to significant challenges in collecting data due to the severe censorship imposed by the Zionist authorities.

The occupiers’ censored statistics on casualties
In this regard, the Israel Insurance Institute, which oversees the payment of compensation to victims, revealed on Monday that it has provided services to more than 80,000 people since October 7, 2023.

The Zionist organization announced that it had recorded 978 deaths, including 84 foreigners, and 33,983 cases of injuries resulting in disabilities, including 30,462 cases of mental disabilities, 1,592 cases of physical disabilities, and 1,929 cases of combined physical and mental disabilities.

The war that handed over a mental community to Israel
The report stated that more than 30,000 people were registered with mental disorders, and on October 7, 2023, alone, more than 70,000 cases of mental disorders were registered. During the war, more than 7,200 cases were added to this number. Also, during the war with Iran, which began on June 13 and lasted 12 days, 1,176 cases of severe mental disorders were registered.

While censorship of casualties and damage figures, especially fatalities, is a common Zionist practice, the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced in a statement on Monday that 1,152 soldiers have been killed since October 7, 2023, of which 466 were killed in the ground war in Gaza.

However, many observers, citing the strict censorship policy applied by the Israeli authorities in publishing figures related to human and material losses, emphasize that the real figures are much higher than what the Israeli army and Ministry of Defense publish.

On the other hand, while reports often focus on direct physical losses, the long-term psychological effects, which are deeper and more widespread and will even last for decades, are not given much attention.

These mental disorders include post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, stress, sleep disorders, drug abuse, and suicidal thoughts. These disorders are not limited to the Zionist military who participated in the Gaza war, but are also seen among many Zionist settlers.

Intensification of the phenomenon of reverse migration
The consequences of Operation Storm Al-Aqsa on the Zionists also go beyond physical and psychological harm and include obvious demographic and social changes. Numerous reports since the beginning of the Battle of Storm Al-Aqsa indicate a significant increase in the number of people who left the occupied territories or are considering leaving. This paints a clear picture of increasing anxiety and uncertainty in Zionist society.

Reverse migration, or irreversible migration, has fluctuated and varied among Zionists over the past decades, but this phenomenon accelerated after October 7, 2023. According to official and censored statistics of the Zionist regime, 82,700 Israelis left the occupied territories during 2024 and chose other countries of the world to live. A survey conducted last May by the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz showed that 40 percent of Israelis are considering leaving the occupied territories, and 81 percent of Israelis who have left occupied Palestine were from the younger generation.
