Zionists claimed the body handed over was not that of an Israeli prisoner.

According to the Israeli news channel Seven, Israeli officials claimed today (Tuesday) that the remains of a body that the regime received yesterday (Monday) from the Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of Hamas) through the Red Cross forces do not belong to any of the Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

According to this report, the Israeli Abu Bakr Forensic Institute claimed that a DNA test conducted on a bloody cloth that was transferred from Gaza to Israel yesterday showed that it has no connection or match with Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

An Israeli source claimed in this regard: This is a finding that was discovered during a search in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza, and, at our request, the Red Cross handed it over to Israel for examination and testing. He emphasized that this case is not considered the handover of a body from Gaza to Israel.

The Israeli regime had previously claimed that the body of another prisoner that was handed over to the Red Cross did not belong to any of the Israeli prisoners.

This is while Al Jazeera reported yesterday (Monday) that the military wing of Hamas had handed over the remains of an Israeli prisoner to the Red Cross for transfer to the occupied territories.

Local sources in Gaza also said that field search operations are continuing in several areas of the eastern Gaza Strip and that cooperation is being established between the Al-Qassam Brigades and international organizations to organize the process of transferring the bodies of the Israeli prisoners.

Hazem Qassem, a spokesman for the Hamas movement, had previously said in an interview with Al Jazeera that the movement is continuing to work to complete the process of transferring the bodies of the Israeli prisoners, despite all the obstacles and problems. He added: “Hamas is trying with all its might to finalize the full exchange path as soon as possible.” However, Netanyahu, during the nearly two years of the Gaza war, which has not achieved any of its military goals, is trying to violate the agreement and shirk his responsibility to international mediators, especially the United States, and is trying to use this excuse to accuse Hamas of violating the agreement and resume its attacks.
