Zionists occupy 6 important water sources in Syria; the security of the Syrian people is at risk.
A reporter for Al-Mayadeen Network based in Syria reported that the Zionist occupiers are consolidating their occupation in the country by establishing communication routes between checkpoints established in the Damascus countryside, Quneitra, and the western outskirts of Daraa.
According to this report, the Zionist military is installing cameras and cement blocks around these checkpoints. The Zionists have currently taken control of six important water sources in southern Syria, including the Al-Muntarah Dam in the Quneitra countryside.
The occupiers have built earthen barriers to prevent Syrian citizens from entering the area around this dam; thus, the water security of southern Syria and some neighborhoods of Damascus has been jeopardized.
Local sources also reported that the Zionists have for the first time patrolled the heights of Jabal Al-Sheikh overlooking Nabatiyeh Lebanon.
